How we’re celebrating party season at home

Wednesday, December 9, 2020

This year’s festivities are gonna be a little different, but we’re all about bringing the positive party vibes, wherever you are. We’ve teamed up with PINK Prosecco to share a few ideas for how to celebrate party season at home. Plus, we’re throwing in some outfit inspo (obvs) and a few ways to enjoy the bubbles with your bubble, whether you’re doing it virtually or IRL. Going out is overrated anyway…

Kitchen disco

Put together the perfect playlist (or use ours) and dance the night away. Everyone knows the kitchen is the heart of the at-home party, and if you’re missing that disco ball, you can always dress like one. Go for gold in a metallic dress or outshine the Christmas decorations in a sparkly co-ord. Who says you can’t wear sequins around the house? Not us!

Pamper sesh

We think pampering and PINK Prosecco go together like Justin and Hailey. Pop on some cute loungewear, turn your bedroom into a spa and indulge in a little self-care or organise a pamper party with your gal pals. For the glowiest skin ever, try this DIY facial or do a YouTube makeup tutorial. And relaxxx…

Grab some popcorn and PINK Prosecco (it works, trust us) and get ready for a movie marathon. You could even dress up like your fave character from a film — the crazier the better we say! Maybe set a night of the week to catch up with your besties and take it in turns to pick the film (and set the outfit brief). We can’t wait to see those #MISSSELFIES. Here’s a round-up of movies we’ll be watching.

Cocktail o’clock

Christmas cocktails

Fancy yourself as a bit of a quarantini queen? Same! Our tipple of choice has to be a PINK Prosecco Negroni cocktail to get the at-home party started.

PINK Prosecco Negroni cocktail

  • PINK Prosecco
  • Rosso vermouth
  • Campari
  • Lime
  • Ice
  • Highball glass or large wine glass

Now here’s the important part… how to make it:

  1. Take your chosen glass and fill it with ice, then pour a generous helping of Pink Prosecco until the level reaches 2/3 full.
  2. Add a measure of vermouth and another of Campari to the Pink Prosecco and ice.
  3. Give it a little stir.
  4. Garnish with a lime wedge (because, it’s fancy).

Come dine with me

Prep the menu and pour the fizz. We’ve got a few fancy dishes that will impress your bubble, and go perfectly with your PINK Prosecco. How does pan fried fish followed by Pan di Spagna (a delicious Italian sponge cake) sound? Can’t catch up in person? Take it in turns to choose the menu, and do a virtual cook-along together. Errr YUM.

Games night

There’s more to festive fun than Zoom quizzes – we did enough of those during the first lockdown! We’ve got a few fresh ideas to help shake things up a bit. We’re talkin’ virtual bingo, an online trivia game (try a free trivia generator like QuizUp) or Pictionary (you can play using Zoom’s whiteboard feature). You don’t need to be in the same room as your mates to have a good time. Just don’t forget your laptop charger…

Competition time

Fancy winning bubbles to share with your bubble? We’re giving 6 winners a case of PINK Prosecco to the value of £54. Head to our Instagram for full details on how to enter. All entrants must be UK residents aged 18+. And remember babes, please drink responsibly. No one likes a hangover.

Party season at home still deserves some amazing outfits. Browse our partywear for ALL the sparkly stuff, or take a look at our Christmas Shop for more inspo.
