5 Outfits To Wear When It’s Cold

Tuesday, December 3, 2019

Trying to look cute when it’s cold is no mean feat, especially when temperatures are plummeting but social plans are increasing. Luckily, we’re on hand to see you through the cold snap with some outfit inspo worthy of the ‘gram. We got together with our pals at Design My Night to give us the lowdown on where to show off your new outfits too, so you can thank us later…

Cold-ish

It’s getting chilly out there, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop wearing your fave outfits. Swap out ankle boots for knee-length boots and style with a knitted dress for that insta-chic vibe. Keep your dress neutral, add a patterned coat (we can’t get enough of this check one) and gold accessories. This outfit is best served with a rooftop drink or two.

The Big Chill

Sometimes, when it’s chilly outside you need to call upon your comfiest clothes. Invest in some cosy joggers, fluffy tops and teddy jackets to wear with trainers. Top off the look with toasty winter accessories. Perfect attire for last-minute Christmas shopping, or enjoying Christmas light displays. We won’t be letting a little cold weather ruin our vibe…

All Wrapped Up

When it comes to winter, layering is your BFF. Wrap yourself in pastel tones an ice queen would be jealous of. Layer a classic white roll neck underneath a cute blouse tucked into jeans and accessorised with white boots and our adorable pink beaded bag. Finish the whole look with our faux-fur-collared coat and head out to a Christmas Market to show off your outfit.

Winter Warmers

Who says you can’t wear a dress in the winter? Not us. In fact, we wholeheartedly support the decision. Keep your hemlines long and opt for midi and maxi dresses and skirts, layered up with cosy knits. Best paired with chunky boots, which will also provide a sturdy platform for those snowy and icy terrains. We recommend teaming with a snuggly faux-fur coat and voila! You’re ready to take on the cold.

A Touch of Frost

Nothing beats a classic knit and jeans combo when the temperature really drops, so grab your best denim and snuggly knit. We’re loving this vintage-inspired one to see us through the season. Team your outfit with boots and a toasty parka coat and rest assured that you’ve nailed cosy but cute look.  Accessorise with a woolly hat and a hot chocolate, of course.

Whether you’re hitting the shops, the bar or the office consider this your fashion forecast for the season.
